The title "Akogare no Hito" ( 憧れの人 ) basically means "The One I Look Up To" (or in plainer words: a person that one really admires).
In this scene of Nakamura Yoshiki-sensei's "Skip Beat!" manga, Mogami Kyoko discovers for the first time, a goal that is not related to her childhood friend, and decides to pursue it in order to become someone of equal ability to her senior, Tsuruga Ren. Though the two didn't really get along in the beginning, their respect for each others' professionalism and ability helps bring them closer together later on in the story.
I rather like this pairing and can't wait to see their relationship continue to bloom in the manga ^_^. I love Ren x Kyoko and I hope things work out well for them (*^_^*).
Anyway... I actually colored this image two years ago to make a desktop wallpaper for myself, but I had Kyoko wear a blue kimono since I didn't know what color it would be. However, after watching the recent two episodes, I now know what the colors should be and so I decided to go back and try coloring the image again ^_^. It's not perfect by any means, but I can say that I like it much better than the version I did two years ago.
(My goodness... O_O... 1000+ hits in just one day)
